When I first went to trade university, I sincerely didn’t know what to expect, and I was pretty intimidated by the whole process of trying to become a Heating and A/C specialist.
Fortunately, the trade university I looked into boasted about a 95% success rate with their students.
A majority of the students make it, and only a small number don’t have what it takes to learn the industry and Heating and A/C equipment. I hoped that I would be one of those who made it. When I got started, I had a great class of classmates. Also the HVAC instructors were great. They were nice and funny and didn’t make fun of people for not knowing things like how filters need to be changed regularly in HVAC systems. One guy didn’t even know what what air filters were! He was a real character. But in the end, most of us of us ended up working our behinds off studying and graduated with an HVAC certification. It was a great day for all. We all agreed to hang out every now and then and remain friends. Some of us even ended up working at the same HVAC businesses, which was pretty cool. I think that eventually I want to start up our own Heating in addition to A/C business-I’d love for some of my original Heating in addition to A/C classmates wanted to join me and others to start our own HVAC business!
