It was enjoyable having him to do household stuff that I wasn’t able to do because I traveled so much
I truly love my line of work, but it comes with some disadvantages. The section of my task that is the hardest Most of the time is how often I have to move. I rarely am ever in one place for more than a few years before it’s on to another hotel or resort and a new life. This is normal in the hospitality industry however, obviously it does wear on myself and others plus my family. My latest transfer has come with a major promotion. I am now the regional director of operations for the expensive hotel group I work for. Nice for sure, but immediately I had to transfer to northern reaches of the country…. and I hate the cold. I was not happy going anywhere that the Heating, Ventilation and A/C heating is on for more than two months in a row. Having been raised in the South, I just have the worst time trying and getting comfortable with snow, ice plus cold temps. Knowing this, I actually made sure that the two of us found a lake loft with a very new, well rated Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. The last time I lived up north, it was totally a cold nightmare. I knew nothing about Heating, Ventilation and A/C plans at that point, after having a heat pump most of my life. I was completely ignorant about massive oil furnaces, boilers plus other Heating, Ventilation and A/C heating methods commonly used up north. This led myself and others to falling prey very quickly to a poorly trained handy man taking care of my Heating, Ventilation and A/C. The previous owners sort of passed on their handyman when the moved. It was enjoyable having him to do household stuff that I wasn’t able to do because I traveled so much. However, this old guy was in no way a licensed Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker. His mistakes led to a single of the coldest years of my life.
