When the planet slowly started falling apart a few weeks ago, things got scary pretty hastily, it seems like normal life was put on pause and this brand new method of living has slowly been developing morning after morning, however the initial order for everybody to stay at cabin and keep their social distance was truly a massive change from the normal way of life.
- It easily turned every normal routine on its head, but after the recommendation for isolation came down the pipes, most people have been finely tuning their schedules to try to stay sane, and personally, I have not faced too much of this problem! My office has not allowed us to job remotely, despite the global environment.
Instead, management tells us to work at distant desks and not to talk to each other face-to-face. If you ask me, this is extremely dangerous, then we’re still breathing the same indoor air, and possibly contaminating each other via the central heating and cooling method everyday. Once the air handling method is carrying the flu, it will be effectively spread throughout the entire building through the air ducts. It will not matter if you are resting all alone once the virus is being carried through our indoor air handling system, even if you’re extremely isolated, you’re going to breathe in the contaminated air if there is an air vent somewhere near you and the AC turns on. That’s why I have been commuting to my job, setting up my station outside, however instead of just sharing the nasty indoor air with potential carriers, I would appreciate breathing in the naturally washed air outdoors. If anyone coughs near my job station, I don’t have to worry about the germs circulating through my indoor air for hours.
