A Day in the Field – Bringing Comfort to Tri-State Homes
Morning Briefing – 6:30 AM
The day starts early at J. E. Shekell as our team gathers for the morning dispatch. With a fresh cup of coffee in hand, I review the day’s service calls across the Tri-State area. Today’s schedule includes furnace maintenance in Evansville and electrical work in Henderson.
First Call – 8:00 AM
The crisp morning air reminds everyone why heating maintenance is crucial as winter approaches. Our first stop is a residential furnace inspection in Evansville’s east side. The homeowner greets us with concerns about uneven heating – a common issue we encounter during fall inspections.
Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM
After completing the furnace maintenance, we head across the Ohio River to Henderson for an emergency heating call. These situations remind us why we maintain our 24/7 availability. A family with young children needs their heat restored, and there’s nothing more satisfying than bringing warmth back to their home.
Afternoon Tasks
The afternoon schedule includes:
– Equipment inventory check
– Parts restocking
– Team coordination for upcoming installations
– Customer follow-up calls
Late Afternoon – 3:30 PM
The final call of the day involves electrical troubleshooting in a commercial space. Our comprehensive training proves valuable as we handle both HVAC and electrical services for our clients throughout the region.
End of Day – 5:00 PM
Before heading home, we complete our service documentation and prepare for tomorrow’s assignments. It’s been another fulfilling day of helping our neighbors maintain comfortable, safe environments in their homes and businesses across Indiana and Kentucky.
Every day brings different challenges, but our commitment to professional service remains constant. Whether it’s furnace repair in Evansville or electrical work in Henderson, we’re proud to serve our community with the expertise they’ve trusted since our company’s founding.
